Twiniversity, the #1 online resource for moms of multiples, is pleased to share that the inaugural issue debut of Multiplicity Magazine has been launched with unparalleled great success!
Due in part to the touching, humorous, poignant, and helpful articles from our contributing writers, reception of the inaugural issue has been well received by parents of multiples and readers alike.
Multiplicity is a quarterly digital publication providing interactive content on various family-friendly subjects related to families of multiples including pregnancy, parenting, culture, education, health,nutrition, shopping, savings.
The Spring 2012 issue of Multiplicity has openings for contributing writers and all are welcomed to apply. In an effort to continue to give our readers pertinent and relevant information, we are expanding our search for contributing writers to include food and beauty writers and bloggers!
Contributing writers do not need to be parents of multiples. Multiplicity staff members can help contributing writers include a multiples specific ‘spin’ into created content to make it relevant to families of multiples. Multiplicity currently has 3,000 subscribers with a reach to more than 10,000families of multiples in 19 countries.
Topics will be assigned to contributing writers for each magazine; however, we are also open to pitches, ideas and suggestions for topics. Currently, we are focusing on the Spring 2012 issue and topics available for contributing writers (in addition to pitches, suggestions, ideas) are the following:
- Most frequently asked questions from parents to a pediatrician
- Cloth Diapering 101
- Earth Day – Eco-Friendly Coverage
- Father’s Day/Gift Ideas
- Member Spotlight – Highlighting mothers (and families) of multiples
- Mother’s Day/Gift Ideas
- New Products – The latest and greatest products for families of multiples
- Organic Baby Foods and Nutrition
- Spring Break
- Spring Cleaning Tips
Articles are to be a maximum of 1200 words (less than 1200 words is preferable) and will be subject to editing. Submitted articles should be submitted double-spaced, Times New Roman font, 12 pt. font size and submitted in Word document format. Created content needs to be exclusive for MultiplicityMagazine, unless otherwise pre-approved by the Editor.
Contributing writers have the choice to chose from one (1) of the following two (2) options:
1. Compensation Package paid via paypal
- Headshot photo and byline – NO clickable links or biography.
2.Promotional Social Media Package
- Includes headshot or picture of contributing writers which will be included with article featured in the magazine. This will be included with writers byline and bio and clickable link to writers’ websites or blogs. (sent to all Multiplicity subscribers and Twiniveristy forum members).
- Contributing writers’ information promoted and featured on Twiniversity Facebook page that has over 5,000 highly engaged fans and 999,000 average posts views in the past three months.
- Article and contributing writers’ information promoted and featured on Twiniversity Twitter.
- Article and contributing writers’ information promoted and featured on Multiplicity staff members’ social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
- Featured 1 hour guest interview available for some participating contributing writers on a talk radio show. Due to successful partnerships with some of the most well-established parenting brands, preference will be given to contributing writers for review and media opportunities.
To assist with the process of selecting contributing writers for the Spring 2012 issue, we are requesting all interested writers submit their top 5 article titles for the Spring 2012 issue before February 13, 2012. The top 5 article titles can be from the any of the topics mentioned above or a pitch, idea or suggestion.
