Jennifer Morgan Burgess didn’t always love to exercise. It took a trip to study abroad in college, and coming home with an extra 15-20 lbs., for her to realize that she was suffering from some minor health issues due to weight gain and from her low self esteem.

Is this just another fitness article for the beginning of another new year? I pondered what I could possibly say that would help make a difference this year. “Lose Weight” is at the top of just about everyone’s list of resolutions – year after year after year.   And that got me thinking…  Obviously resolving to lose weight isn’t enough (or else we wouldn’t keep repeating it!).  Instead of resolving to “lose weight” or “fit into a size ___” this year, why not resolve to make the small changes that will lead to your ultimate health and fitness?  Changes that are less intimidating and seem more easily attainable will keep you motivated and on track throughout the year.  You could resolve to: More
