So far, summer has been GREAT for the Siman family. Between spending time outside at the park and at the playground with friends; 17-month-old twins, Darya and Aylin, have plenty to keep them busy. But when it’s too hot to play outside, their mom avoids summer boredom by making indoor playdates and dancing the day away!

“It’s a great way for the girls to burn off some excess energy,” says mom, Haley. “And for me, to get in a little exercise.”

Of course, she adds, ‘No vacation is complete, without a tropical fruity drink or water with fancy straws!’

Super Mom of the Month- July

Super Mom Shawnna Pomeroy and her twinnies

This July 4th, Shawnna Pomeroy has plans to take her twinnies, Max & Alex, to see the fireworks. But for Shawnna, the true celebration of independence is being a single parent of multiples, whom she has nicknamed “2x.”

“The best part of being a single parent, is that I don’t have to “share” my boys!” she says, “They are ALL MINE!” 

In honor of her many courageous efforts, Twiniversity would like to ‘share’ the ‘Supermom of the Month’ award for July 2011, with one of our very own independent mothers, Shawnna Pomeroy!

Whoosh. Slicing the air like a faint whisper…I can hear it now. A time when being a kid during the summer, was all about the thrill of skipping rocks across a lake or playing with flying objects…the COOLEST toys ever!

With all the new fangled toys that kids have today; I was beginning to think that these ‘classics’  were a thing of the past…until along came Waboba!

Step 2 is looking for 5 or 6 families with twins, triples, ext. that will be willing to walk in the “Double Take Parade” at Twin’s Day handing out candy and coupons to the public. The event is August 6th and everyone needs to be in Twinsburg by 9:00AM. I will be handing out $20 Gift Certificates to all the families that do participate.
