Every family selected will receive a small token gift from us as a little Thank You for letting us honor them. This year we are also very lucky to have partnered with Step2 and will be able to make some amazing recommendations for holiday gifts for your own multiples.

We asked their mom a few questions and here is what she had to say about her twinnies and the holidays:

How old are they?
2, they turn 3 in April

What was your most memorable moment from the day your multiples were born?
Dan standing up to look at the girls right after they were delivered, then quickly sitting back down again. I asked him, “How are they!?!” He said, “They seem fine. You, however, are MESSED UP.” He then went on to give me a description of what my guts looked like. Nice.

How do you plan on celebrating the holidays with your family this year?
I took the girls up to Iowa for an early Christmas with my folks, which was great. They got to see snow for the first time. For Christmas Eve Dan’s family does the traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes. Christmas Day will be mellow at home with just our little family.

Does your family have any holiday traditions you can share with us?
Dan’s Italian family does the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and we play a fun game with the whole family (even the kids), where you roll dice and steal presents from each other. It’s a hoot.

What was YOUR favorite gift you received for the holidays as a child?
My grandfather refurbished my dad’s old Flexible Flyer sled and gave it to me when I was about 5. It was awesome. And Cabbage Patch Kids, of course. (Totally dating myself there!)

Finish this sentence: The best part of being a parent of multiples is that life is never boring!
