Practicing safety on Halloween can be tricky with two or more children. But it doesn’t have to turn into a nightmare. Follow a few simple tips and you’ll be well on your way to enjoying a ‘spooktackular’ holiday with your twinnies this Halloween.

Safety begins even before you head out the door.

  • First, make sure that your twinnies costumes fit accordingly and are nice and secure. Check the length of their costumes, and if they’re too long, shorten them by trimming, (or even), stapling the bottoms, to ensure that they don’t have any unexpected spills, during the night. Masks should also provide ample visibility to prevent any falls or accidents.
  • Take a picture of your twinnies in their costumes before leaving the house. And write your phone number either inside your twinnies’ costumes or ‘Trick or Treat’ bags. So, should anyone ‘stray away’ from you during the night; they can be returned to you, as quickly as possible. More
